Our story

Our story begins in Japan 2022 after a summer surf in Chiba. We where in Japan catching up with friends and family and it was here good friend Keiichi Kun offered us to try some of his cold brew premium Japanese tea. We where totally hooked from the first taste of the tea; it was not only so refreshing but had such a unique flavour that was so enjoyable to drink. He offered us more varieties to try and explained their origins and unique characteristics and flavours. We were so impressed we took allot back home.
After returning home to Australia we started making cold brew tea to have with meals and also enjoy throughout the day as a healthy refreshing drink. We started to notice that we were drinking more tea and less coffee and alcoholic beverages.
Meals became easier to digest and we really enjoying pairing different teas with certain foods. Not only did we enjoy the tea, but friends and family had the same reaction, and we quickly discovered we were running out of tea.

The following year we returned to Japan to learn more about Japanese tea culture through Logi Connect Tea Master Tomoki Kawano and Keiichi. Here we learn ’t so much more about their ancient craft and growing tea trends. Later, with their blessing it was decided that their tea should be enjoyed by more and hence JA Connection was born connecting the two cultures through a love of premium tea products.

Today we still love learning more about the ancient Japanese tea culture and supporting Japanese framers and tea masters in the process. We continue to visit Japan to catch up with Tomoki & Keiichi to learn more, sample new varieties and off course drink tea. We hope you love drinking our unique tea’s as much as we do.
